While standing outside of Flatbush Farm I saw a perfect photo opportunity of a bike in need of some love propped up against a no bikes sign. Then right next to it, I saw a piece of litter that happened to be a print of Bill Cunningham on his bike. Double score!
Unfortunately I was carry my sick puppy instead of my sick DSLR (creative usage of the word sick intended :) so my iPhone had to suffice.

Do you need to schlep your 4 kids to the food co-op? Just throw them in the bucket.
Park Slope Lens was there. Why weren't you?
Each month our neighbor, Kerri Doherty, hosts a storytelling show at Union Hall called "Geeking Out." Five local storytellers get on stage and unashamedly tell a tale about a how they used to (or still do) get all nerdy over some topic (e.g. Super Nintendo, Oscar Meyer weiners, stalking Roger Daltrey). Last night's show was all killer, no filler. You can take a peak at my photo set of all the performers by clicking here.
We need YOU!
The idea behind Park Slope Lens is to give Slopers a special view of their neighborhood that they wouldn't see otherwise. In order to make the blog better, we need more photographers. If you are interested in becoming a contributor, click the email button above and send us some samples of your PS photos. This is a great chance to show your neighbors how you see our community. Plus we have quite a nice reach, so you can draw attention to your other creative endeavors. Also, if you have any particular photo projects that you'd like to do let us knows as well.
